Discovery Cove Orlando - A theme park close to Orlando in Florida USA, Discovery Cove is especially well known for its offering the possibility to swim with dolphins (bottlenose dolphins).
Among the attractions of Discovery Cove are a coral reef, where visitors can snorkel and enjoy the varied sealife on show, including thousands of brightly coloured fish, even sharks and barracuda (safely behind protective glass), a tropical river, a ray lagoon, with species of ray up to 4 feet across, a free flight aviary with hundreds of tropical birds, and of course the dolphin lagoon where visitors can swim and interact with bottlenose dolphins.
Admission into Discovery Cove is all inclusive with entry, parking, food, drinks, showers, towels, wetsuits and equipment included, plus entry into Serenity Bay, Tropical Reef, and the Aviary (also including entry into nearby SeaWorld or the Busch Gardens Tampa).
Discovery Cove is located beside Sea World, to the south-west of the city of Orlando, Florida, just off the Taft-Vineland Road (Central Florida Pkwy), it is around a 15 minute drive from Orlando International Airport.
